Newborns are best to capture in their first 2 weeks. At this age they are still sleepy and we can get those sweet curled up poses. After this age, they don’t sleep as deeply, often don’t like being moved around into different positions and most likely, start to lose that unique “newness” of a newborn.
However, it is not always possible for parents to come in so quickly after the birth. It is a challenge to get an older baby to pose as newborn but not impossible.
Because I know how important it is for parents to have these foto’s taken and to treasure these moments for ever, I try to never say no and make an exception.
It warms my heart to know parents appreciate my afford: “Thank you so much for the photos, albums and the gift. We love them all. The albums turned out better than I could have hoped for. We are so happy with them. You took some beautiful photos of our baby girl and we will treasure them. Can’t wait to show them off!”
